Attribution & sources

Plane-dle's aircraft data - names, manufacturers, origin countries, first- flight dates, roles, and the wingspan/engine facts behind the bonus rounds - comes from Wikidata, released into the public domain under CC0 1.0. Data retrieved 2026-07-12.

There are no photographs or silhouettes in this version - Plane-dle is a pure attribute game, so no image licence applies. Iconic aircraft silhouettes are a planned fast-follow once a clean public-domain set is sourced.

Each answer's teach card is a short verbatim excerpt from the aircraft's English Wikipedia article summary, licensed CC BY-SA 4.0; those articles remain the copyright of their authors. The excerpt is shown only after a puzzle is finished, with a From Wikipedia (CC BY-SA 4.0) link back to the source article. Reuse of a teach excerpt must keep that attribution and the same licence.
